an update...no way!
Well, October is here, and with it a bevy of mixed feelings.

My Birthday is this month, so was my mothers.
Gone is the time that I could remember her age by just adding 30 years to mine.
Hers won't be changing any more.
I think her birthday will be harder than her death day, but I don't really know.
We'll see when December comes.
I've never really done alot for the holidays (other than Thanks-Gavin)so I'm not
sure how hard it's going to hit. Last year was rough, but it was super close to
everything...maybe this year will be easier. I hope.
I'm ok with gifts from the G-man this year, since my mom liked to send 'em, and I think
the lack of hearing from here now is what's going to make me miss her the most.
The unnecessary stuff she did because she knew how it made me feel loved or secure.
Stupid stuff that makes sense to no one else. Like her always getting my gift in yellow.
There were 4 of us and we'd often get the same gifts just in different colors - stopped fights
over who wanted to play with what dead cold. I hate yellow now, but apparantly when
I was a small child I liked it, and she never forgot. I choose to believe that I got
stuck with yellow 'cause I gots a thing for dandelions.

ICC is this month. Ought to be interesting. Lots of people are looking at possibly
losing their characters (me included) so we'll see what happens. Hopefully it'll
be a good enough time that everyone will be happy no matter what.

Didn't make it to faire this year. Sadness. Wanted a dragon's egg.

Car's on it's last leg. Not starting up. Don't know if it's the starter or the starter.
We replaced that nearly 2 yers ago, wonder if it's under warrantee. I hope so. Walking
in the winter sucks donkey dick.

Lets see...need to end on an up note....um....Not Dead Yet! *grin*

MacGyver
My Husband is MacGyver. He fixed our broken Toliet with a saftey pin. No joke. Also no joke is the fact that our commode is made by Gerber. Yes, the ones that make the Baby foods and products. Blech! Gives me an Ishy just thnking about it. Upshot is we can still make rent as we didn't have to spend any to fix the necessary room.

Anyone who tried and failed to reach us in the last few days may have noticed that our net and phone were down. We are broke at the worst times of the year. SO, please don't feel slighted if you do not get a gift or card for yule tides. However, do know that we love and care for our friends. No, we are fine, just strapped. Cause I'm a bum without a job. At least it isn't leprosy.

Life is good though. I've noticed that it's the one's who have to search for a reason to live who find the best ones. You know, friends, family, etc. Instead of games, or possessions, or petty distractions. Very good for poets. Where's my staple gun?

Cool stuff at www.noblecollection.com for geeks. Or Harry potter fans. Or Lord of the Rings, etc. Too bad none of it will be mine. That's the problem with coveting. You don't actually get to own any of it. Piss and cookies.

I feel funky.

Other than feeling a little under the weather, I'm doing ok. I loves the rain and rainy weather, It's my favorites. It makes me wanna stay up late, and burn candles and incense, and curl up in warm blanket balls in clean houses/apts and just snuggle. When I buy a house the G-man and I have decided that a fireplace is definately on the must have list. Other than that, I've been becoming accaunted with velvet abd leather and sweaters and wondering if I'm going to have a Christmas tree this year (we don't celebrate, but that doesn't mean I don't like to put up a tree). Ah, fall. Happy times, happy times.
